The Subaru Crosstrek excelled in child occupant protection, earning top scores in Crash Test Performance for both frontal and lateral impacts. The vehicle also includes a Rear Seat Reminder to alert drivers if a child or infant may be left in the car. It accommodates all child seats and restraints effectively.
For vulnerable road users, the Crosstrek achieved maximum points in AEB Cyclist and Lane Support Motorcyclists. The system performed well in detecting and responding to cyclists and motorcyclists in various scenarios.
In adult occupant safety, the Crosstrek scored highest in side barrier and side-pole impact tests, ensuring good protection of critical body regions. It also demonstrated strong whiplash protection in rear-end collisions and provided consistent protection across different occupant sizes and positions.
In Safety Assist, the Crosstrek earned full marks for its Lane Support system, which includes Lane Keep Assist and Emergency Lane Keeping. It also features a seatbelt reminder system for all seats and a driver status monitoring system, both contributing to its top safety rating.
